
Despite increase in overall engagement (time spent per user on App), Premier userbase and conversion ratio decreases in tinder. I've listed the reasons why these are affected and how they are affecting on the business overall.
The reasons I've deduced are as With no change in the user cycle journey and competitor’s market share being constant, a decrease in premier userbase can be associated only to external factors due to covid. It's okay for a long distance relationship , not for long distance in-person date.
To tackle that, I've deduced three possible solutions and prioritized them with their pitfalls as well.
Now, Tinder actually launched the feature which I proposed in the case study.
